This knife has a blade made of Daido 1K6 high-carbon stainless steel blade. It was hardened at 58 degrees Rockwell, and, according to the Rockwell hardness scale, all items with values above 55 degrees are considered to have an exceptional hardness. This allows the knife to have higher endurance and greater durability. However, in order to maintain the blade under its best conditions, we highly recommend not to wash this knife in the dishwasher machine.
The handle is made of polypropylene and bamboo powder. This last material provides the knife with hygienic properties, because the bamboo parts have natural anti-bacterial properties. In addition, the length of the handle is 12.7 centimeters, and it has an Oriental design that is suitable for both left and right-handed people.
